underway   The motor yacht M/Y Aurora, built in 2011 by Technomar, is ready to show the the islands of Greece. With an amazing about of space for her size, Aurora has a spacious and modern interior with five guest cabins. Sleek sitting at the dock and quick underway, start your charter in Athens and cruise quickly to the Saronic Gulf, or the Cyclades – some many choices and they are all yours!

Aurora is able to cruise at 22 kts, although for better fuel efficiency 12 to 15 kts is the more relaxed pace. This speed does give you the flexibility of staying out in a lovely anchorage until the sun is low in the horizon before dashing to the next port where you will find fresh octopus and the catch of the day grilling at the harbor side tavernas.

Eating ashore is a must during your Greek charter — all fresh and local, you will have plenty of opportunities to interact with local Greeks who will all give you their opinion about what is wrong with the government as well as the most beautiful spots you must include on your itinerary.  It is going to be a difficult decision each day — eat the wonderful food prepared on board by your chef, or try the local restaurants for their specialty. Hands down you are going to want to try some of the late night music and dancing that is found throught the Greek islands.

However, there will be evenings when you anchor out for the evening just to enjoy the quiet. While in the harbor enjoy sitting in the jacuzzi located on the foredeck with afternon sundowners, there’s plenty of room for sunbathing on Aurora. The flexible layout of three couble cabins and two twin bed cabins means Aurora is well suited to families or a group of friends ready to enjoy time relaxing.

Captain Yannis and his crew are ready to show you the amazing history and friendly people that make up Greece.
