Naples Sicily Italy Luxury Yacht Charter Itinerary

Naples Sicily Italy Luxury Yacht Charter Itinerary

This is just a small sample of what is possible during a yacht charter.

Naples, Ischia

Leave the delights and sights of Naples for the short hop to Ischia. The deep green slopes to the south crowd the fishing village of Sant’ Angelo and make it one of the most relaxing spots on the island Capri. Long a favorite of the jet set, if you look out over the Bay of Naples and south to the Amalfi coast, it ‘s easy to see why.

Capri

A cruise round the island, a turn round the deck and ashore to one of Europe’s peak nightlife experiences.

Sorrento

The Amalfi coast can lay claim to outstanding natural beauty – towering cliffs, a terrifying corniche, the picture-postcard attractiveness of Positano and, out to sea, the Galli Islands. There is no better way to see this memorable coastline than from the deck of a cruising yacht.

Stromboli

A day of active water sports and then an overnight sail to the active, and, incredibly, populated – volcanic island of Stromboli.  Welcome to the Aeolian Islands.

Stromboli

Dusk is the best time for a trip to the of the volcano – It’s a three hour climb, worth it for nature’s “son et lumiere”. You will, of course, be provided with a guide for one of Europe’s must-see sights.

Basiluzzo

Relaxation after the exercise – a crossing to this tiny island for lunch a little light snorkeling.

Panaria

Panaria is the smallest of the Aeolians but has a great deal to offer – a complete absence of cars, one delightful beach, a Bronze Age village. And from time to time an underwater vent will release a column of steam through the crystal-clear sea.

Sail on to Lipari and Vulcano and then jump to Sicily. This large island offers air service from Palermo but on the southwestern side of the island lies Taormina.

Flights are available in nearby Reggio if you cannot extend your trip or carry on through the Straits of Messina – between Scylla and Charybdis – to sophisticated Taormina. Mt. Etna is Europe’s highest volcano – and one of the largest in the world – and deserves at least a rail circumnavigation, if not a climb to the summit (3323m).

There are many possibilities in interesting and unique part of Italy.
