Growing up on the water at Port Jefferson - Long Island, NY doing boat chores & fishing was what brought me to Yachting in the late 80’s.
Muscle Cars & Drag Racing had a strong hold on me early on that was briefly interrupted by Viet-Nam as a Crew Chief on Medivac Helicopters.
I then got serious about my Professional Drag Racing Career driving Top Fuel Dragsters & AA/Funny Cars supported by my Auto Parts Store / Machine & Repair Shop in a suburb of San Antonio, Texas.
Speed & Altitude lost out eventually to the “Serenity of Scuba Diving” & a long stay in Belize, Central America where I met the “Little Italian Backpacker”…. Now the love of my life / wife……Sylvie

Although of Italian Heritage my place of birth & early childhood was Metz, France. Teen years were back in Italy but being a “Traveler” kept me moving. I lived in London & Wales for a time & then decided to “Back Pack” through Central America…… Low & Behold my Knight on his shining white boat…..? I’ve become a French – Italian – Spanish speaking scuba diving – cooking - yacht fool ever since.
Together Captain Chris & Captain Sylvie have run various live-aboard dive vessels prior & of late have been aboard ** Intrepid ** for 10 seasons now… They have gone through the Panama Canal 3 times with extensive cruising in Mexico – Bahamas – Caribbean & East Coast. Their Harley-Davidson Touring & RV’ing along with Sylvie’s Traveling keep them somewhat sane………..

Originally from the mountains of South Carolina, I left with a remaining love of backpacking, river rafting, and fishing. After graduating high school, I found myself studying psychology and anthropology, with an emphasis on primates and research. As my interest in animals grew, especially in monkeys, I found myself making a temporary move to Key West. My move was initially designed to limit my distractions, but soon I never wanted to leave. My boating career there started many years with my boyfriend, and has continued into a joint career in yachting.

Born and mostly raised in Ohio, I traveled around after graduating college trying to find my niche. Sick of Mid-west winters and eager to have more consistent weather for diving, I decided to move to Key West. While there, I started my boating career, and with my current girlfriend, made a decision to begin a career in yachting.
