Captain: Mark A. Howard – United States

Mark is originally from Michigan where he grew up sailing on the Lakes. After moving to Santa Barbara, California where he obtained his Business Degree, he then attended the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve Academy followed by 10 years at the Santa Barbara Harbor Police, the last five as Commanding Officer. For the past 15 years he has focused his marine career on the operation and construction of large motor yachts. Mark and his wife Susan have entertained guests aboard various well know yachts in exotic locations such as the South Pacific & New Zealand, Galapagos Islands, Costa Rica, Panama, Belize & Alaska, as well as having extensive knowledge of the Mediterranean, U.S. Coast and the Caribbean. He holds Master Merchant Marine licenses from the U.S. Coast Guard, U.K., and the Cayman Islands, in addition to a Helicopter Pilots License.
Mark takes great pride in Huntress and her crew, and is always looking for new ways to improve the guests’ enjoyment aboard and the treasured memories they take with them.


Purser: Susan Howard - England

Susan and Mark have been sailing together as a team for 7 years. Susan brings a unique background to yachting as she was working as a Biochemist in the food industry prior to attending Cordon Bleu culinary training at Leith’s in London. Following management of European chateaux and chalets, she has spent her last 14 years on large motor yachts. With a wealth of experience as both chef and purser, Susan is responsible for the overall management of the steward and galley departments insuring that all requirements of our guests are anticipated and fulfilled. In addition to worldwide travel and service on vessels such as Wedge One, Evviva, Affinity and Mi Gaea, she is also a trained Dive Master, Advanced Medic, and our wine sommelier. Her interests are foreign cultures, traveling, food & wine, and reading.


First Officer: André Rutishauser – South Africa

André brings to Huntress his wealth of experience gained from many years in the industry & several well known Feadships such as Cakewalk and Charade. A South African of Swiss descent with a Diploma in Marketing & Sales Management, André is in charge of our deck department and he takes great pride in Huntress’ exterior appearance. Personal and professional, he becomes well known to all of our guests in their pursuit of the many water sports available, and from idyllic days spent on the beach. He also holds numerous Marine Certificates and Licenses including MCA Chief Mate & MCA Officer of the Watch. André has been sailing the seven seas since he was a youngster and in his spare time he enjoys water sports, hiking & exploring.





Chief Engineer: Kevin Rooney – United States

Kevin grew up in Wisconsin, and is a graduate of the Maine Maritime Academy attaining dual degrees in Marine Engineering and Nautical Science He holds both U.S. Coastguard & Cayman Islands Chief Engineer Unlimited Licenses. Having served many years on several other large Feadships, Kevin has an extremely sound and competent knowledge of Huntress’ engine room & mechanical systems, ensuring that the yacht’s functioning and safety are never compromised. He was also the build engineer on a 60m Feadship at the Royal Van Lent yard.
He enjoys traveling and exploring new lands and now makes Hawaii his home.


Second Engineer: Michael Hughes – New Zealand

Michael grew up in Te Kuiti, located in the Central North Island of New Zealand. After working for three years at an Engineering firm, he left New Zealand to follow in the footsteps of his father who worked at a well known shipyard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After two years of bringing his wide range of expertise to the yard, Michael decided to join a yacht as an engineer. He served aboard Neninka for three years as well as Bossy Boots before joining the Huntress Crew.
Michael loves building off road race cars & street rods. Rugby is also one of his great passions.


Second Officer: Ryan Godbeer - South Africa

Ryan grew up in Kloof, near Durban in South Africa. As student for three years at the Potchefstroom University Ryan obtained a degree in Business Administration. His qualifications ensured him a position as mortgage consultant at a major bank. Ryan joined the yachting industry in 2001 and has served on various yachts including Betty and Magnifico. Ryan also holds various Maritime Certificates.
Rugby, golf and wakeboarding are a few of Ryan’s favorite hobbies.


Deckhand: Gerard Rutishauser – South Africa

Gerard, the younger of two brothers onboard, grew up in South Africa where he developed his great love of the outdoors, in particular of the sea & sailing. He has a degree in Building & Construction Management and is a sound addition to our professional & outstanding deck department. Gerard has been in yachting for the past few years, traveling throughout the Caribbean, Panama Canal & Mediterranean. He loves all sports including wake boarding, body boarding and tennis.


Deckhand: Andrew Rubulis – Australia

Andrew comes from Sydney, Australia, and holds a diploma in Business Programming.
His love for the sea took him north up the eastern coast of Australia to Cairns, where he was a deckhand aboard a live-aboard dive boat. He then developed his fascination with diving, becoming first a Dive Master, then Dive Instructor. Having spent years at sea, Andrew is a great addition to Huntress with his easy going, but professional attitude and good humour. He loves to travel, hike, snowboard & surf.



Chef: Adrian Tatlock - England

Adrian is from England where he trained as a professional chef attaining his City & Guilds Diploma. He has since studied extensively at the Culinary Institute of America’s Greystone & Hyde Park Campus’. Adrian has been working onboard large yachts for the past 10 years and loves exploring the local markets & cuisines as we travel around the world. He enjoys light & flavourful cooking, and has a creative and expansive menu repertoire from Classic French to Mediterranean to Pan-Asian, which he tailors for each cruise, guaranteeing our guests a truly memorable dining experience. He enjoys tennis, exploring & of course fine dining.


Sous Chef/Steward: Eric Pacorel - France

Eric adds a French flavor to our service by assisting Adrian in all aspects of the Galley. He grew up in the Burgundy region of France, and it is there that he attained his Culinary Qualifications. He has worked in many Michelin Star restaurants in France, Switzerland and St. Barth’s. He also assists our stewardesses with cocktail service and serving fine wines for dinner, and contributes to our finely detailed interior maintenance. Eric enjoys biking, tennis and jogging, but really enjoys dreaming up new deserts for our guests.


Head Stewardess: Sandra Jardim – South Africa

Sandra grew up in South Africa, and then spent three years in Germany attaining her Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Sandra is responsible for the stewardesses, and the daily service and maintenance of Huntress’ interior, having a high knowledge of care for the finer details of a yacht interior. She brings her effervescent personality and professional commitment to excellence to our team, having served on such vessels as Cakewalk, Battered Bull & Bossy Boots. She co-ordinates closely with our chef, Adrian, to insure perfect service. Sandra loves to travel and her favorite hobby is wakeboarding.


Stewardess: Janis Behan - Canada

Janis grew up in Powell River in coastal British Columbia. She gained a Business & Marketing Diploma before staring her yachting career. After spending a couple of years on the Feadship Iroquois, Janis joined the Huntress crew. Janis brings dedication, creativity and flair to our interior team. Coming from an athletic family, Janis loves running, skiing and any type of water sports.


Stewardess: Sarah Griffin - America

Sarah grew up in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She gained a Business Administration Degree at the North Idaho College. After working in the field for a few years the desire for adventure took over. She joined the M.Y. Triton for an exciting voyage along the U.S. West Coast, Alaska and French Polynesia. Sarah now brings her talent, ambition, attention for detail and friendly demeanor to the Huntress crew and her guests. As hobbies, Sarah enjoys wakeboarding, snorkeling, and fishing.



Stewardess: Nicola Roderick- New Zealand

Originally from Tauranga in New Zealand, Nicola spent 5 years in Western Australia in the Marine Tourism industry. Nicola was a Marine Interaction Swimmer and then later skippered a 12m Glass bottom boat. Her previous hospitality experience as well as extensive Maritime knowledge steered Nicola towards the yachting industry. After a busy Mediterranean season on board M.Y. Chamar, Nicola joined the Huntress crew.
As a Dive Master, her hobbies are amongst others, diving, fishing, yoga and jogging.
