Mark and Chris have had extensive experience in the charter industry and as guests your safety, enjoyment and sense of well being, will be their first priority. They have had over seven years in the industry and the constant feedback they receive always relates to the warm, sincere hospitality extended to their guests and the care taken with all details to ensure the best possible experience. They are versatile and flexible and always prepared to put in that extra effort.
Mark comes from a corporate background in Engineering related industries. He decided to make a life change approx. ten years ago to follow his dream of building his own yacht and enjoying his work experience, while giving pleasure to others. Marcrista is built to the highest survey requirements in Australia and as 'man in charge of the project' it was a challenging experience to follow through with 'The Dream.' He loves sharing with others who have an interest in sailing or boating of any nature, or those who are just keen to enjoy the wonderful freedom cruisng offers in such a pristine and beautiful area. He loves playing the guitar and his singing is still progressing!! He has his Master 5 qualification and is expert in many fields of yacht engineering, maintenance and marine operations..
Chris was a Primary School Teacher, drawn to the profession by her love of children. Since being married however business has always predominated and she and Mark have operated together in their different ventures. She has enjoyed being hostess on Marcrista and has completed the safety courses necessary for crewing requirements. She takes great enjoyment in ensuring guests are comfortable and feel welcome and 'at home.' She has a warm, caring nature and a constant happy smile.
Together they will strive to give everyone that once in a lifetime experience. They enjoy people from all walks of life whether it be family groups or corporate executives. Their life experience is broad and they are continuously inspired by those they meet and share time with on Marcrista.
